The city of Nazareth
After our departure from Tel Aviv (pick up is availble from jerusalem as well), we will drive up the coastal road and arrive to the city of Nazareth, which is located in the heart of Galilee region in a valley surrounded by mountains that embrace several of the most important Christian sites in the world. Nazareth is a city known for its spiritual aspects, fascinating archeology and modern culture. The ancient Nazareth Village where Jesus of Nazareth grew up offers visitors many sites, which are mostly concentrated in the charming Old City, built in the mid-19th century. We will take a stroll through the narrow streets and bustling Nazareth market, and enjoy a truly amazing experience, which offers a great taste of The History of Nazareth.
We will begin our Day at the Basilica of the Annunciation, which stands on the traditional site of Gabriel's announcement to Mary that she would conceive by the power of the Holy Spirit. Lk 1:26-38. Within the complex, we will visit the Church of St. Joseph, known as the site that marks the traditional home of Joseph and Mary.

Tiberias & the Sea of Galilee
After touring Nazareth, we will take a short drive towards the magnificent Sea of Galilee, Israel’s largest freshwater lake. The Sea of Galilee is renowned for being the beautiful waterfront before which Jesus performed his miracles.
We will head towards the beachfront city of Tiberias, which overlooks the impressive Golan Heights on one side and the Sea of Galilee on the other. Tiberias is known for the New Testament story of Jesus calming the stormy waters of the Sea of Galilee, the Feeding of the Multitude, and of course, the renowned walking on water, as told in the Gospels of Matthew and Mark. Our next stop will be Yardenit, which sits on the banks of the Jordan River, and is where Jesus was baptized. The site attracts thousands of believers who dip in the waters.
Capernaum
During the time Jesus spent in the Galilee area, he made his home in Capernaum at the family residence of St. Peter. We will tour the modern Franciscan church, which stands on the site of the House of St. Peter, where Jesus healed a paralytic and healed Peter's mother-in-law.
 Tabgha
According to Christian tradition, some of the most momentous events recorded in the New Testament occurred in Tabgha, only a few miles from Capernaum. The First Feeding of the Multitude, the Sermon on the Mount, and the apparition of Jesus to the apostles following his resurrection are all associated with this area.
For all the rich history that it harbors, the Galilee area should not to be missed by anyone. To reserve a place on the Nazareth Israel tours, simply complete the contact form found below.
